Ericsson builds end-to-end NB-IoT system for Taiwanese Chunghwa Telecom
Chunghwa Telecom will use the system to trial a range of IoT devices and applications in its laboratory. Parties continue to work together to identify 5G use cases and applications for the digital transformation of industry verticals such as transportation and utilities. Ericsson demonstrates end-to-end NB-IoT capabilities in support of Chunghwa Telecom. Ericsson will build a NarrowBand IoT (NB-IoT) system for Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan’s largest integrated telecommunications services company, enabling the island to take its first steps toward joining the Internet of Things.
