Ingram Micro has been appointed as distributor of Roambee in Asia Pacific, spanning markets in Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Indonesia. Founded in 2013, the Silicon Valley start-up operates as an Internet of Things (IoT) provider, with deep expertise across manufacturing, logistics and supply chain, transportation, finance, pharmaceutical and automotive industries. The new channel alliance aims to increase awareness of Roambee’s suite of products, while driving adoption of the vendor’s monitoring and tracking solutions and services regionally. “Roambee is an important addition to our existing vast portfolio and we believe has high potential in the ASEAN and Hong Kong markets,” said Francis Choo, vice president and chief country executive of ASEAN and HK at Ingram Micro.
