An End-to-End Approach to IoT: Oracle Joins the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC)

Oracle has recently joined the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), a global, nonprofit partnership of industry, government and academia created to facilitate the development of a global ecosystem for the Internet of Things (IoT). Oracle understands that businesses are beginning to grasp the advantages of IoT both in terms of improving operational efficiency and extending external business opportunities. Oracle will actively work with the its fellow IIC members in order to  drive further IoT innovation through the creation of new industry use cases and testbeds for real-world applications, as well as to participate in the working committees and task forces to spur innovation and drive standards in the Internet of Things (IoT) a focus on Industry.
