Itron to acquire Silver Spring Networks to accelerate smart grid and smart city innovation and growth

Itron, Inc and Silver Spring Networks, Inc. announced that they have signed a definitive agreement for Itron to acquire all outstanding shares of Silver Spring for $16.25 (€13.55) per share in cash. The transaction is valued at approximately $830 million (€692.16 million), net of $118 million (€98.40 million)of Silver Spring’s cash.
