Spark Signs Deal With The National Narrowband Network on IoT Network Sharing
Spark NZ, LoRaWAN | October 12, 2020
New Zealand's biggest telecommunications service provider Spark has signed a deal with Australia's oldest LoRaWAN network operator, The National Narrowband Network Co, on IoT network sharing.
The deal will enable the two companies to have mutual access across their respective LoRaWAN IoT (Long-Range Wide Area Internet of Things) networks, Spark said in a statement.
It would enable businesses in both countries to implement cost-effective smart technology solutions without needing to set up operations in the other country, Spark said.
For example, Spark would be able to help New Zealand app Parkable, Australia's fastest-growing parking app, to expand its business.
