Indizen Optical Technologies (IOT) was founded in 2005 in conjunction with the Optics Department at the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain. It was the first company to specialize exclusively in free-form lens design. In 2010, IOT joined in partnership with Younger Optics, based in Torrance, California, to help expand its business in North America, and around the world.
