EMT Distribution adds IoT security vendor ReFirm Labs

US-based IoT security vendor ReFirm Labs has appointed EMT Distribution to distribute its Centrifuge Platform in Australia and New Zealand. Centrifuge provides automated vetting, validation and monitoring of IoT devices. ReFirm said it also does not require a source code, has API integration, continuous monitoring and actionable reporting. “ReFirm Labs lines up with our focus on sourcing and delivering innovative solutions for cyber security vulnerabilities that mainstream technologies don’t address,” EMT chief marketing officer Scott Hagenus said. “The fact that organisations with a heavy reliance on IoT devices can vet firmware images for vulnerabilities in around 30 minutes, without requiring source code, brings confidence to the choices they make.”
