Telia Estonia opens M2M laboratory at Tartu university
Mobile operator Telia Estonia, in cooperation with the Tartu University, has launched the M2M R&D laboratory at the university. The laboratory was installed as a 'smart house' and 'smart office', so many functions can be controlled over the network and based on software, sensors and data connections. The devices in the lab can collect and exchange data, as well as act independently in certain situations. Scientists and students of the university will use the laboratory in order to design and test new solutions.
