Dimension Four, a software technology company that provides a high-performance, scalable, end-to-end Internet of Things (IoT) platform, announced that it has partnered with Memfault, a cloud-based embedded device observability specialist, to help IoT companies develop scalable and efficient devices. Device manufacturers will now be able to construct two crucial components of their IoT design, device-to-app data transmission and comprehensive remote device diagnostics, more rapidly thanks to this alliance.

"Dimension Four offers an API that enables companies to accelerate IoT development while also ensuring agnostic connectivity towards hardware. With this technology, they are taking a strong position as a powerful IoT cloud platform. Memfault shares the mission of giving engineers tools they need without dictating product designs and getting them to market faster," said Devon Yablonski, Head of Business Development at Memfault.

To create and deploy IoT products at scale, a significant and sensible investment in infrastructure is required to manage and transfer data to and from the cloud and maintain, support, and update devices. Unfortunately, many products fail in production because the infrastructure isn't ready for the use case, and the necessary tools aren't in place to figure out what's wrong. As a consequence, development expenses are wasted, consumers are dissatisfied, and brands may be harmed in the long run. The cooperation between

Memfault and Dimension Four include both firms' technologies to reduce the time and cost of building and operating this infrastructure, as well as solving these difficulties with product OEMs. Dimension Four and Memfault can help device developers improve data access from devices and sensors for application and device management, reduce time to market by utilizing current technologies, and maximize connectivity and cloud services for best-in-class product capabilities.

Memfault is an IoT device observability platform that focuses on addressing development issues by enabling remote monitoring, debugging, and OTA upgrades at scale. As a consequence, support staff and engineers may identify difficulties ahead of time, analyze the most essential issues, and resolve each one without the need for a device RMA or customer engagement.

Memfault's unique approach to embedded device data observability really resonated with our engineers and us, as it gives firmware developers insight into their products that they cannot get with any other tools. We are looking forward to working with Memfault to help companies accelerate their IoT journey and time to market while also reducing risk and cost."
