Nokia WING will Enable Global IoT Connectivity for HMD Global's Enterprise Data Solution

Nokia announced today that it would partner with HMD Worldwide to offer seamless global IoT connectivity for HMD's IoT solution for companies by utilizing Nokia's Worldwide IoT Network Grid (WING). The partnership will enable enterprise customers of the HMD Connect Pro service to track and manage connected devices worldwide.

HMD Connect Pro connects any device to the internet, allowing organizations to monitor and control their connected assets remotely. Logistics businesses, healthcare distributors, energy providers, and other businesses may obtain a visual view of thousands of their mobile assets through a single management platform, with the power to activate and deactivate SIM cards.

HMD Global will provide seamless connection throughout the globe by utilizing the Nokia WING technology agnostic IoT Connectivity Enablement as a Service. HMD Global will enter new areas with less risk and complexity while being regulatory compliant due to the pre-integrated infrastructure. The HMD Connect Pro service will use multi-operator SIMs embedded in enterprise devices to connect to the best available network and transfer data via the nearest Nokia Core node. This will provide the lowest possible latency for real-time monitoring and a consistent level of service.

Enterprises will benefit from agile and secure operations, which will allow them to adapt connectivity to their specific needs, keep costs under control with transparent billing, and guarantee compliance with local regulations. The Nokia WING IoT Command Center, which is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, ensures a consistent service experience.
