Newark rolls out two artificial intelligence IoT devices

Newark, a division of Avnet Inc., has launched a dedicated artificial intelligence (AI) online resource in order to teach users about AI, explore AI-specific products and gain support to choose the right device to meet project requirements. As part of the rollout, Newark has introduced two new AI products. SmartEdge Agile is an end-to-end internet of things (IoT) device to deliver AI and security at the edge. The solution is a certified hardware device with a full software stack. Ultra 96 is a platform designed to simplify machine learning and is an ARM-based Xilinx Zynq UltraScale multi-processor system-on-chip (MPSoC) development board based on the Linaro 96 board specification.
