Beijing’s Palace Museum building smart network with 5G, IoT and AI

Beijing’s Palace Museum has partnered with Huawei to build a smart network with 5G technology. It also plans to use artificial intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT) around the complex. As well as 5G, Huawei will provide the Palace Museum, also known as the Forbidden City, with cutting-edge technology for Internet of Things devices and objects, and AI to aid with the management, security and preservation of artefacts. Under the new agreement, 5G Wi-Fi signals will cover the 720,000-sqm attraction, which uses innovative technology to make history relevant.
