The Federal Government-funded Advanced Manufacturing Growth Centre (AMGC) is helping Brisbane company Movus offer its industrial IoT service at a reduced price. A co-funding arrangement with AMGC will allow Movus to offer 12-month FitMachine Starter Kit subscriptions to 50 Australian small to medium manufacturers for half price. The kit includes ten sensors, WiFi/4G gateway, a mobile app and access to the Movus platform and dashboard. A Movus press release describes FitMachine as a continuous monitoring service for rotating industrial equipment, such as pumps, motors, blowers, fans, compressors, chillers, cyclones, screens, cooling towers, gearboxes and generators.
