VMware, Silicon Labs, Nokia enhancing their IoT lineup
Recently, VMware announced its edge infrastructure and IoT management platform--the Pulse IoT Centre’s new version 2.0. VMware’s move follows the pattern set by other big companies getting into IoT: Leveraging their existing technological strengths and applying them to the messier, more doubtful networking environment that IoT represents. The product 2.0 is available as SaaS option, and VMware has also included new features like the simplified device-onboarding and centralized management features.
