Cadence addresses complex analogue designs for IoT

This is a recognition of the growing importance of analogue and mixed chip design for data gatheirng nodes which are part of the internet of things (IoT).
The tool's Analogue Design Environment (ADE) will be used for advanced-node designs and will be part of complex system-level design.
As a consequence there will be an increase in design data and this has been addressed with significantly faster loading of big waveform databases in excess of 1GB.
The tool's capabilities include real-time tuning of design specs, and detection and fixing of variation problems using a complete corners and Monte Carlo statistical environment.
