Industrial Internet Consortium and IoT Alliance Australia Announce Liaison

In a recent release, the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), a professional organization for accelerating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and the Internet of Things Alliance Australia (IoTAA) announced they have agreed to a liaison. Under the agreement, the IIC and IoTAA will work together to harmonize various aspects of the industrial internet to help improve the digital economy. Under the agreement, the joint activities between the IIC and the IoTAA reportedly will include: Collaborating on standardization, Realizing interoperability by harmonizing architecture and other elements, Aligning work in vertical domains, Developing benchmarks for IoT adoption, Developing global best practices “Global alignment and sharing of best practice is critical for realizing the economic benefit of IoT. We are therefore delighted to be working with the Industrial Internet Consortium,” says Frank Zeichner, CEO, IoT Alliance Australia.
