LG seeks to benefit from IoT potential

The Internet of Things (IoT) is ushering in a technological revolution and global consumer electronics giant LG seeks to benefit from the potential of this technology.

IoT will help functioning autonomously, creating self-aware systems out of existing real-world objects that will monitor and improve environment.

According to a recent economic forecast released by consulting firm McKinsey & Company,  By 2025, the IoT will become more mainstream, having an economic impact between $3.9 trillion and $11.1 trillion per year.

Many cities around the Middle East are leading the way globally in showing how IoT can be used to improve how government services are delivered.
