MobileIron puts Intel exec at the head of new IoT division

MobileIron has formed a new division focused on the Internet of Things (IoT), with the aim of building an end-to-end "chain of trust" from sensor to app to gateway to cloud to network. The company said it wants to have an IoT product ready for sale later this year. The new division will be led by Santhosh Nair, its new VP IoT, who will work closely with MobileIron co-founder and CTO Suresh Batchu. Nair joins the company from Intel’s Wind River, where he was VP & GM of the IoT business unit. Before that, he worked at GE Healthcare.
