Telit Announces Successfully Completion of NTT DOCOMO 5G IoT Testing in Sub-6 GHz Spectrum

Telit, a worldwide empowering agent of the Internet of Things (IoT), today declared that its FN980 5G data card has effectively finished NTT DOCOMO interoperability testing in the sub-6 GHz range. Telit recently finished NTT DOCOMO interoperability testing for the administrator's 4G LTE organization and has now for its new 5G organization, giving clients in Japan a choice of affirmed modules to use in their devices and applications.

In light of the new 3GPP Rel. 15 norms, the Telit FN980 empowers original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to exploit Gigabit LTE and future-proof their items for 5G with NTT DOCOMO in Japan. These 4G and 5G speeds make the FN980 ideal for a wide assortment of transmission capacity escalated IoT applications, including high definition (HD) surveillance video, digital signage and industrial routers/gateways.

Fueled by the Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ X55 5G Modem-RF System, the FN980 arrangement upholds sub-6GHz FDD/TDD and LTE Category 20 – 7x carrier aggregation. The FN980 has gotten broad worldwide endorsements. These endorsements give OEMs, system integrators, and end-clients with added free verification that their FN980-based devices will proceed true to form on all major mobile operator networks worldwide.
