Telit LM940 is First LTE Cat 11 IoT Module Certified by T-Mobile

Telit today announced that T-Mobile US has certified its first LTE Category 11 module: the Telit LM940. With support for up to 600 Mbps theoretical peak downlinks and 75 Mbps theoretical peak uplinks, the LM940 gives businesses, government agencies and other organizations a powerful new connectivity option for remote/branch office routers, gateways and other bandwidth-intensive applications. The LM940 features a mini PCIe form factor and support for all LTE Cat 11 capabilities, including 256 QAM and carrier aggregation for maximum performance and reliability. It also supports 20 LTE bands, giving systems integrators and end users maximum deployment flexibility, allowing T-Mobile customers to export their LM940-based products globally as a single model. The certification is the latest milestone in Telit’s longstanding relationship with T-Mobile and in June 2017, T-Mobile certified the LE910-NA1 LTE Category 1 IoT module and added it as an option for T-Mobile’s IoT Access packs.
