IIoT sensors send real-time data from Chevron's heat exchangers to the cloud

Deep within a Chevron fuel refinery, one key machine is now talking – and revealing secrets about its own health. In a pilot program, Chevron affixed some heat exchangers with wireless Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) sensors, which collect and send real-time data from the heat exchanger to the cloud.
