The Laboratory is intended to develop security technologies for smart home appliances that are manufactured and used in China. The founder members are: the China Electronics Standardization Institute (CESI) supervised by the Ministry of industry and information technology; Midea Group; Huawei Consumer business group; Tencent Holdings and Infineon.
